"This year, by the time the
season is over, our show will have aired over 500 times," Weir said.
"We've really gotten lucky with it and added a lot of coverage this
year."
Weir also takes a sold-out
busload of race fans to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby every
year. The trip is in its fourth year, with accommodations at the
Horseshoe Casino and Hotel, box seats at the finish line and a
third-floor private lounge for the group. "It's about as first class
as you can get unless you want to spend a fortune," Weir said.
